This week's route is a flat one, but it keeps things interesting with a bit of mixed surfaces in the spirit of a spring classic. There's a bit of everything: paved roads, gravel, and cobbles, but it's completely rideable on a road bike. Ideally, you should have at least 28mm+ tires and tubeless, but I've ridden with plenty of people without them. You just need to watch out for pinch flats.
The first 20 km is the same as a Marne loop with the climb, but instead of dropping back down, you continue into the forest. The first gravel sector comes at 25 km. The gravel is very hard-packed and is a straight path, it's actually smoother than some paved roads. After that, you continue on some nice, quiet paved roads until the next unpaved sector at 45 km.

The next section is a bit rougher than the previous one, with varying surfaces including some cobbles and chunkier gravel at times. It goes from a wide path down to double track, but again, don't be too intimidated. While the surfaces are mixed, the fact that it's a straight shot means you don't need to be Mathieu van der Poel to make it through. If you want to really hammer it, I suggest having some bike handling skills and tubeless tires to avoid flats.
After ripping around on the mixed terrain, you finish making your way out of the forest and head to the Marne. You continue following the Marne back to Bois de Vincennes, where you could add a few polygon laps if you wanted.
